In  September 2018 the Friends of Rookery Park and House worked in partnership with Everyone Erdington and Erdington Arts Forum to deliver one of the best community focused celebration’s Erdington has ever seen.

The aim of this event was to celebrate and promote everything amazing about Erdington. The event included an enviable line up of live music, free face painting, free bouncy castle, free family activities and lots of fun; presenting a great opportunity for local residents and visitors to have an amazing day with their family, friends and neighbours.

We are happy for people to make use of Rookery Park for public events but you need to apply for permission and provide full details so that Birmingham City Council can ensure that the event meets health and safety guidelines. There is a charge for using a park which covers the costs of administration and services relating to the event. Outdoor events that involve groups of people using equipment or structures such as tables, music or gazebos require permission. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate private functions such as wedding receptions or corporate functions.
